Before you sign up

Will it show me anything my bank app doesn't?
Yes. The point of Aureli is the overview your bank can't give you. It adds property, SIPPs, ISAs, stocks and crypto into one number, then runs scenarios across all of them. Your bank can tell you your balance. Aureli tells you your equity.
How accurate is the property valuation?
Property is entered manually. You set your own valuation and update it any time, which tends to be more useful for mortgage equity calculations anyway. We're working on automated comparables for a future release.
Can I model a remortgage or a job change?
Yes. Scenarios let you set rate changes, lump-sum overpayments, income shifts, contribution changes and growth assumptions. You can save multiple scenarios side-by-side and compare end values.
Does it support joint accounts and partners?
Yes. Pro lets you share a portfolio with view or edit access: a partner, family member, or financial adviser. You can also keep separate portfolios for 'mine' and 'ours' and aggregate them in reports.

Practical stuff

Is my financial data secure?
Yes. Aureli uses bank-level encryption (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest), we never sell your data, and we're GDPR compliant. Open Banking access is read-only and routed through Finexer Ltd (FRN 925695), authorised and regulated by the FCA. You can export or delete everything any time.
Do I have to connect my bank account?
No. Open Banking saves typing, but every asset can be added and updated manually. Most users start with the assets they already know off the top of their head and connect their bank a week or two later.
Is Aureli really free?
Yes. The free tier covers 5 assets and 5 debts, daily valuations, and one currency. Pro (£9/mo) unlocks unlimited tracking, scenarios, AI chat and sharing. No card required to start. See pricing.
What happens if I want to leave?
One click on Settings → Export gives you a full JSON of every asset, debt, transaction and historical snapshot. Account deletion is one click below it, and all data is fully erased within 30 days.
